Pan American Club Crew Championships 2025

For three days in July, the Olympic Basin at Parc Jean-Drapeau belonged to the continent. The 6th Pan American Club Crew Championships brought 203 crews and more than 2,000 paddlers from a dozen countries to Montreal – and the Phoenix Warriors got to race it in their own backyard.

The 500m told the story of a crew that knows its plan. Out of Heat 3 on Saturday morning the boat went 2:20.71 for 2nd, then came back in the Community Mixed Final E and shaved it to 2:20.64 – 2nd again, and faster when the pressure was highest. Repeating a time that closely, twice in one day, is the mark of a crew rowing together rather than twenty people paddling hard.

The 2000m was the grind of the weekend: four turns, ten and a half minutes of sustained work, and a 4th-place 10:26.21 in Final B – 11th out of 32 community mixed crews on the overall ranking. The 200m Final C closed things out at 0:55.46.

Race Results:

2nd Place – 500m Community Mixed Final E (2:20.64)

2nd Place – 500m Community Mixed Heat 3 (2:20.71)

4th Place – 2000m Community Mixed Final B (10:26.21) – 11th overall

6th Place – 200m Community Mixed Final C (0:55.46)

Racing a Pan American championship at home, in front of family and friends on the shoreline, is a rare thing. The Phoenix Warriors met it head-on. One boat, one heartbeat.
