Montreal International Dragon Boat Challenge 2024

The 2000m is the race that hides nothing. Four turns, eleven minutes of full-body work, and no place to hide a weak stroke. In 2024, the Phoenix Warriors owned it.

Crossing in 12:07.17, the crew took 1st place in the Community Mixed Final C – a win built on pacing, patience and a boat that stayed together when the lactic acid arrived.

The sprints were a grind by comparison: 4th in the 200m Final E (0:58.50) and 5th in the 500m Final E (2:34.21). Lessons noted, work list written.
